Barry J. Martzahl, CFP , CIMA
Managing Director – Wealth Management
Institutional Consultant

Barry is a Managing Director with Graystone Consulting, a business of Morgan Stanley dedicated to helping meet the complex needs of today’s institutional and private clients.

Barry has focused on helping to meet the needs of institutional and private clients since 1985. He is the founding member of the Graystone Consulting - The Martzahl Group, Green Bay WI office where he is supported by a consulting team, analyst group and operations staff dedicated to serving client needs.

Barry has more than 31 years of experience in the financial services industry, where he has dedicated his career to working exclusively with corporations, retirement plans, foundations and endowments, school districts and other Institutional investors. He also provides planning and investment strategies to help meet the unique needs of high-net-worth families. As a Managing Director, Barry is responsible for strategic policy, portfolio optimization and investment manager allocation and investment strategies, conducting extensive research and evaluation on investment management firms, helping to form comprehensive investment and spending policy statements and delivering performance measurement and monitoring services and ongoing Trustee education.

Barry completed the E.F. Hutton training program in 1985, a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, Barry attended the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, completing coursework in conjunction with the Investment Management Consultants AssociationSM (IMCA) that resulted in certification as a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA). He has also successfully completed the Certified Investment Strategist (CIS) program introduced by IMCA in conjunction with New York University’s Stern School of Business. Barry has earned the right to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP), a designation granted by the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Board of Standards, Inc., by successfully completing initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Barry is a 2014-2015 member of Morgan Stanley’s Chairman’s Club, a distinction awarded to a select group of Morgan Stanley’s financial advisors. He is a past member of the Directors Advisory Group (DAG), which was designed to represent the views of the 18,000 financial advisors in the firm’s policymaking process, that served both Citigroup and Smith Barney CEOs, Chairmen, and Senior Directors. Barry has been recognized by Barron’s, as one of America’s Top 1,200 Advisors, in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Barry’s past and current community activities include serving the Resurrection Parish Finance Committee, Co-Chair Notre Dame Academy Tritonfest, Jackie Nitschke Center, Bay-Lakes Council Boy Scouts of America and the UW-GB Founders Association.


Rebecca A. McCormick, CFP, CRPS

Rebecca McCormick serves clients with solid retirement plan solutions by assisting plan sponsors with their fiduciary responsibilities and helping drive better outcomes for plan participants.

As a Corporate Retirement Director, Becky focuses on the retirement plan marketplace and advising corporate retirement plan sponsors plan participants.  Today, many individuals are not saving or not saving enough to enjoy a comfortable retirement or leave a desired legacy to their children.  She assists plan sponsors by engaging and educating plan participants to demonstrate the importance of a savings plan and guides participants in developing a plan to help achieve a comfortable retirement.  Becky takes the time to work with participants to structure a portfolio in an effort to achieve the right balance of risk and return in accordance with their goals.  

Becky has over 31 years of industry experience, including 22 years at Morgan Stanley, having joined Graystone Consulting – The Martzahl Group in 1994.  Prior to that, she worked for a retirement plan administration firm and a bank trust department where she garnered the technical knowledge that many retirement plan consultants may not have.  This knowledge has allowed her to bring value to her relationships with plan sponsor and plan participants.

She has been recognized among the “Top Women Advisors of 2015” by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA).  As a testament to her dedication and commitment to retirement planning and financial planning, she has earned the CRPS designation and is a CFP practitioner.  As a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS), Becky has demonstrated her knowledge and experience in providing advice and guidance to employers offering defined benefit and defined contribution plans.  Becky has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) designation which provides her with the knowledge and tools to understand how to develop specific strategies to minimize taxes, protect assets, maximize growth and transfer wealth.  

Becky is a warm and friendly person who welcomes the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their life experiences.  For fun and relaxation, she enjoys boating, gardening and spending time with her dogs.  She is passionate about the well-being of animals and volunteers her time working with no-kill animal shelters and supporting local organizations, such as the Bay Area Human Society and Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary.  


Hans D. Anderson, CIMA

Vice President
Director of Business Strategy

Hans Anderson serves clients by understanding their unique needs and designing strategies that will help them reach their goals.

Hans Anderson is Vice President and Director of Business Strategy, and he serves as the lead relationship manager for several of the team’s largest institutional clients.  With more than 18 years with Graystone Consulting, he has cultivated a strong understanding of client needs and possesses a breadth and depth of experience that enable him to provide prompt solutions to client issues. 

Hans is focused on helping address the fiduciary responsibilities and investment needs of the team’s institutional clients.  He has earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation which demonstrates a high level of consulting expertise with asset allocation, ethics, due diligence, risk measurement, investment policy reviews and performance measurement.  He earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.

Though spending time with his family is his top priority when away from the office, Hans enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing and volunteering with the Bay-Lakes Council Boy Scouts of America.


Thomas S. Peebles
Institutional Consulting Analyst

Thomas Peebles serves clients by assisting the team with comprehensive investment analysis and performance measurement to help create and monitor optimal portfolios. 

As an Institutional Consultant Analyst, Thomas Peebles is responsible for assisting the advisors with asset manager research and due diligence, investment performance measurement, strategic/tactical asset allocation recommendations and client service.  He and his team work closely with sponsors of Defined Benefit plans, Foundations and Endowments, as well as high net worth individuals to create a process and portfolio to help them meet their personal and professional goals. 

Thomas joined Graystone Consulting in 2013, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BBA in Finance with a minor in Political Science.  At UW-Madison, Thomas took courses and was involved in extra-curricular activities with a focus on portfolio construction and analytics.

In his free time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and friends, recreational and competitive running, and keeping current with the ongoing political environment around the world.


Jake Williquette
Institutional Consulting Analyst

Jake Williquette helps clients achieve their financial goals by leveraging the firm’s global resources to provide insightful portfolio analysis and investment research.

As an Institutional Consulting Analyst, Jake Williquette supports his team of advisors and clients as they pursue their financial goals.  For the team’s institutional clientele, Jake supports their analytical needs by calculating investment performance, analyzing asset allocations and preparing customized quarterly reports.  In addition, he manages the defined contribution retirement plan service model which entails plan design and health reviews, Investment Policy Statement reviews, asset management research and due diligence and fee benchmarking.  Jake understands that each client is unique and leverages the industry leading research, technology and resources of Graystone Consulting’s organization to deliver an experience to clients that builds confidence and trust.

Prior to joining Graystone Consulting in 2015, Jake spent seven years with a retirement plan consulting firm, building his knowledge of the administrative and technical aspects of 401k plans.  His practical understanding of retirement plan documents, IRS compliance and reporting provides a solid foundation for his role working with the team and clients.  Jake graduated from St. Norbert College and earned a B.S. in Mathematics with an emphasis in Economics and Finance. 

Jake is an energetic person who enjoys meeting new people and spending time with his friends and family, especially if they want to spend time playing golf, hunting or fishing.  Jake also keeps his math skills honed by managing his own portfolio.


Nancy J. Loberger
Senior Registered Associate

Nancy Loberger serves clients by building personal and professional relationships and providing responsive client service.

Nancy Loberger is a member of a dynamic team of professionals and is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals.  As a Senior Registered Associate, Nancy is dedicated to building personal and professional relationships with clients, while supporting the needs of the financial advisors.  Responsible for administrative oversight and handling of client inquiries, her energy and depth of knowledge result in a first-class experience for clients.

With more than 28 years at Morgan Stanley / Graystone Consulting, Nancy’s experience enables her to provide a seasoned perspective to her team and clients.  Prior to joining the team in 2012, she held a variety of roles within the operations department which has served her well when working with clients.

Nancy enjoys traveling the world to explore the diverse cultures and cuisine, as well as to meet new people and learn about their lives.  She thrives on new experiences!  Nancy also enjoys spending time bowling, golfing, biking and volunteering.  Since 2013, she has been an active member and officer of the Green Bay Exchange Club, and volunteers at the home games of the Green Bay Packers. This organization helps to prevent child abuse, recognize outstanding youth and encourage patriotism.
